Shoot One - Work Record

Plans for the shoot:

I plan to take some photographs of my old playstation, it is something that I use quite regularly so in my opinion, would be an everyday object, further.

What I hope to achieve:

I hope that it inspires me as my first shoot, I want to find out what looks good and what doesn't and I think that this shoot will look good in my opinion. I hope that I am able to have good lighting in this shoot even though I am doing it at home.

What I actually achieved:

I didn't end up liking this shoot as it looked more like an advert for the object, due to the way it is set out, showing all of the objects very clearly. In addition, the light that I used has made a bright mark on the table, which looks really bad and unprofessional. It would work better in the studio, however I don't want to try because I didn't like the photographs generally.

This is my favourite image from shoot one, I like how it is set out, although it looks like an eBay advert, so I don't like it very much, furthermore, there is a reflection on the table of the light in the centre.

I also like this image, however there is a shadow on the table on the bottom right corner. The photograph looked good except for this and I don't think that the shoot worked as well as I hoped it would.

What I am doing next:

Next, I think that I will look into focusing on different objects and the lighting with them, I want to take photographs using cutlery like Andre Kertesz.
