Shoot Two - Work Record

Plans for the shoot: For this shoot I intend to take photographs of spoons, I want to focus on the composition of this image as I think that this will be the most important part of the photo. I'm going to do the shoot at home as this means I will have as much time as I need to do the shoot, rather than in the studio where I can be under time constraints sometimes.
I will need a plain surface and a light to be able to take these photos.
What I hope to achieve: I hope that I can focus on the composition for this shoot as I've never really focused on it that much for my previous shoots and it would be useful to explore into.

What I actually achieved:
ISO: 400
F/4.2
Shutter Speed: 1/20
I really like this image because of the lighting that I used, the shadows of the spoons are stretched out sideways so you can see how different all the spoons are. I was inspired by Andre Kertesz to do this shoot as I really liked his photograph of the fork leaning on the bowl.

ISO: 400
F/5
Shutter Speed: 1/125
I also really like this image because it is focused on the spoon that has the pretty detailing on it, the other spoons surrounding it look quite plain so it stands out quite a lot in the image.
I was inspired by Andre Kertesz for these photos so I wanted them to look quite aged, I made them black and white and I also used a grainy filter called noise to make them look even more aged. I really liked how these photographs turned out because they work really well in my opinion.

What am I going to do next: Next, I will take photographs similar to this, however I will use different everyday objects as I really liked how this turned out and I'd like to explore it further. I liked playing with the lighting and shadows as the spoons were all different shapes so it ended up looking quite interesting.
